*Job Summary*
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Daycare Teacher to join our team. Right now we are looking for someone that would be a good fit in either our School Age or Preschool classroom. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and educational environment for children, fostering their development through engaging activities and structured learning. This role requires strong classroom management skills, an understanding of child welfare, and the ability to effectively communicate with both children and parents.

*Duties*

* Implement age-appropriate curriculum that promotes learning in various developmental areas
* Manage classroom behavior effectively, ensuring a safe and positive environment for all children.
* Foster social and emotional development through interactive play and educational activities.
* Communicate regularly with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns related to behavior or development.
* Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom space that encourages exploration and creativity.
* Observe and assess children's progress, adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs.
* Collaborate with other staff members to create a cohesive educational experience for all children in the daycare.

*Experience*

* Previous experience working with children in a daycare or educational setting is preferred.
* Strong skills in classroom management and behavior management techniques.
* Knowledge of child welfare practices and the ability to create a safe learning environment.
* Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to engage effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
