ADEX Healthcare Staffing LLC is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Parkersburg, West Virginia.

\nRN - Med Surg
\n\nJob Details:
\n• Work 12-hour shifts: Day shift 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM or Night shift 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM with 30-minute lunch break
\n• Every-other-weekend requirement (weekends for nights are Friday/Saturday/Sunday ; days are Saturday/Sunday)
\n• Travel experience required
\n• Patient ratios of 1:5-6 (1:4 if COVID patients)
\n• Unit has 18 beds, all private rooms due to infectious disease requirements
\n• Care for patients with infectious diseases including isolation, COVID, MRSA, C-Diff
\n• Strong knowledge required in Med/Surg, infectious disease, and isolation precautions
\n• Manage Heparin and other typical Med/Surg IV medications and antibiotics (no cardiac drips)
\n• Remote telemetry monitoring from 3rd floor - RNs do not read or interpret strips
\n• May have patients on CPAP, BiPAP, or high flow oxygen managed by respiratory therapy
\n• Floating required to any Med/Surg units as first priority
\n• Required certification: BLS (AHA)
\n• Royal blue scrubs required - scrub jackets must be actual scrub jackets in royal blue (no hoodies)
\n• 1 day EPIC orientation, 1 day floor orientation with preceptor, independent on third day
\n• Holiday work may be required based on unit needs
\n• Block scheduling available as long as unit needs are met
\n• Subject to call-off for low census
\n• Must submit unexpired copy of driver's license with application
