Reporting to the Director of Campus Security Services, the ArtCenter Security Supervisor is responsible for overseeing and coordinating the day-to-day activities of the ArtCenters contract security team. The incumbent works directly with the contract security providers Campus Manager, Supervisors and Officers. This role leads the team with a strong focus on customer service, community engagement, and effective service delivery to maintain a safe, inclusive, and welcoming campus environment. In the absence of senior leadership, this position will coordinate and manage any onsite emergency response.
The Supervisor collaborates closely with students, faculty, staff, and visitors to build trust and transparency while addressing security needs with empathy and professionalism. Key responsibilities include administrative and operational functions such as parking operations, access control systems, emergency preparedness, and incident response coordination. This position will provide leadership and operational oversight with a commitment to serving and connecting with the campus community.
We are hiring for 4 positions with different shift schedules. Each position is full-time on-site (35 hours per week) . Please indicate which shift you prefer or if you are open to any shift.
The position requires flexibility to work a staggered or alternate schedule to meet the demands of the work, which could include weekends or evenings. It will work across both College campuses. The College reserves the right to modify schedules as needed to meet business needs with appropriate notice.

This is a full?time on?site position, working on both campuses. The exact schedule is to be determined and will be a regular 35?hour work week. Environment: Work is performed both in a standard office setting and outside with frequent interruptions and distractions; extended periods of time viewing computers, monitors, and machinery; interactions with other individuals. Due to the nature of the work environment, there is exposure to fumes, dust and noise.
Physical: Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office and campus setting; to stand or walk for prolonged periods of time; including bending, kneeling, crouching, reaching, squatting, and twisting; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull moderate to heavy amounts of weight (50 pounds) or team lift (100 pound); to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination, drive college vehicles, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. Effective verbal communication skills to present and respond to requests. Responsibilities may also include hazards such as contact with abusive or combative individuals, and first responder to emergency scenes. Regular and consistent attendance are required for most positions. Must be able to work long hours and weekends. Ability to travel around and between campuses and buildings.
Vision: Must be able to have the visual capacity to perform activities such as preparing and reading reports, looking at equipment, viewing a computer terminal and other normal work with or without correction.
Hearing: Must be able to communicate effectively in the course of normal work communication or exchange ideas with or without correction.
