Job Description

Job Summary:
The Roofing Project Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of roofing projects from start to finish. This includes planning, scheduling, coordinating with clients and crews, ensuring safety compliance, monitoring budgets, and delivering high-quality roofing work on time. The ideal candidate has strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of roofing materials, techniques, and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Manage roofing projects from initiation through completion, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to client satisfaction.
• 
  Create project schedules, allocate resources, and coordinate with crews, subcontractors, and vendors.
• 
  Conduct site inspections to assess project requirements, monitor progress, and ensure compliance with safety regulations.
• 
  Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing questions, updates, and concerns professionally.
• 
  Prepare and manage project budgets, track costs, and approve invoices related to project expenditures.
• 
  Ensure all work meets quality standards and adheres to manufacturer specifications, building codes, and safety guidelines.
• 
  Maintain accurate project documentation, including contracts, change orders, daily reports, and photos.
• 
  Collaborate with sales and estimating teams to ensure smooth transition from proposal to project execution.
• 
  Identify potential risks or issues and proactively develop solutions to keep projects on track.
• 
  Stay updated on roofing industry trends, materials, and best practices.
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Proven experience as a Project Manager in the roofing or construction industry.
• 
  Strong knowledge of roofing systems, materials, and installation techniques.
• 
  Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
• 
  Proficient in project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office Suite.
• 
  Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings.
• 
  Knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety procedures.
• 
  Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  

Preferred Qualifications:

• 
  Construction management or related degree.
• 
  Experience with commercial and residential roofing projects.
• 
  Certification in project management (PMP or similar) or roofing-specific certifications.
