Schedule: Monday-Friday | Day Shift
Pay: $25.00/hour

Job Overview

The Instrument Test Technician I is responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting moderately complex instruments to ensure performance meets defined pass/fail criteria. This role supports production, quality, and engineering teams while maintaining strict safety, GMP, and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Assemble, integrate, and test instruments within the production environment
• Perform functional and release testing on assigned instruments
• Analyze test data to determine pass/fail results and recommend corrective actions
• Troubleshoot basic electrical, mechanical, or system-related issues
• Identify defects and escalate quality or performance concerns
• Read and interpret drawings, work instructions, and workmanship standards
• Support process improvements and continuous improvement initiatives
• Train and support associates on testing and assembly procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with GMP, safety, and quality policies
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to test and support moderately complex instruments
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Experience reading technical drawings and specifications
• Familiarity with mechanical tools (torque drivers, gauges, etc.)
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and changing priorities
• Strong teamwork, communication, and time management skills
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with Windows environments

Education & Experience

• High School Diploma or GED with 3.5+ years of manufacturing experience

Work Environment

• Manufacturing/production setting
• Must be able to perform standard material handling tasks
• Overtime may be required based on business needs
