Saunders Midwest is a diversified consumer and business products company with a portfolio of brands that have served customers for over 70 years. Our brands are known for their quality and reliability, attracting customers from name-brand retail outlets and business distributors across the US and around the world. We produce and market a variety of products including short and long-handle tools, storage clipboards, pickup devices, reachers, automotive handtools, and more. Our brands include NUPLA, HISCO, Ullman Devices, Saunders and PikStik, each known for their highquality products.

This is a fulltime, onsite role for a General Manager located in Chicago, IL. The General Manager will focus on sales and marketing, oversee daily operations, ensure the efficient management of company resources, and lead the business for overall growth and development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of progressive experience in relevant business roles
• Extensive experience in sales & marketing, operations management, resource and staff management
• Strong skills in strategic planning, project management, and budget management
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work effectively onsite in downtown Chicago, IL
• Advanced degree in Business Administration, Management, engineering or a related field is preferred
• Experience in the consumer and business products industry is advantageous

Compensation

• Medical, dental, shortterm disability, vacation, sickdays and conventional holidays
• $150,000-$175,000 per year, paid every two weeks; plus annual cash bonus plan participation
