Job Purpose:

Prepares basic financial reports under direct supervision. Assists in the day-to-day maintenance of a complete and accurate general ledger.

Major Responsibilities:

• Prepares, reviews, and adjusts journal entries
• Performs reconciliations of balance sheet accounts
• Participates in Department Efficiency Teams including re-engineering and automation of accounting processes
• Perform analytics on financial information with objective of ensuring information quality
• Reports the company's finances to management, offering suggestions about resource utilization, tax strategies, and assumptions underlying budget forecasts.
• Maintenance of fixed assets - property additions and disposals; personal, real estate and right of use assets

Experience & Requirements

• Candidates should be in process of earning Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Accounting
• Familiarity with US GAAP and IFRS Codification
• Experience with MS Office products and accounting software preferred.
• Action oriented, good time management, listening, integrity
