Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and reliable Electrical Service Apprentice to join our Service Department. This entry-level position is designed for someone eager to learn the electrical trade while assisting experienced electricians with day-to-day service calls, installations, and repairs. The ideal candidate will demonstrate a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to learn quickly. As skills and leadership abilities are developed, this position provides a pathway toward advancement within the Service Department.

Duties

• Assist licensed electricians with electrical installations, maintenance, and repairs.
• Load, unload, and organize tools, materials, and equipment needed for each job.
• Pull wire, run conduit, and perform basic electrical tasks under supervision.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment at job sites and in company vehicles.
• Follow company safety policies, OSHA guidelines, and industry best practices.
• Accurately follow instructions and complete assigned tasks efficiently.
• Provide excellent customer service and represent the company in a professional manner.
• Continuously learn and develop technical knowledge of electrical systems.

Q ualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Prior construction or electrical experience preferred but not required.
• Willingness to learn the electrical trade and complete necessary training.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
• Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in varying conditions (heights, confined spaces, outdoors).
• Must successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check
