Caregiver Position At Always Best Care

At Always Best Care, we provide compassionate, high-quality in-home care for seniors and individuals needing support with daily living activities. We take pride in offering care that emphasizes personal dignity, safety, and emotional well-being. As a trusted care provider in the Greater West Houston area, we are expanding our team and are looking for dedicated caregivers to join us. We are urgently hiring full-time caregivers to assist a couple in Houston, TX (77077). This position involves 12-hour shifts on both weekdays and weekends.

Position Details:

Location: Greater West Houston (Current Need: Houston, TX 77077)

Shifts Available: Full-time, 12-hour shifts (weekdays and weekends)

Responsibilities:

• Assisting with daily living activities (meal preparation, personal care, light housekeeping, companionship)
• Administering scheduled medications and tracking compliance
• Assisting with breathing treatments (oxygen tanks, nebulizer)
• Monitoring and documenting clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns promptly
• Assisting with errands or transportation as needed
• Following all safety and infection control protocols to protect clients and maintain a clean environment
• Communicating effectively with clients, families, and supervisors to ensure the best care

Requirements:

• Prior caregiving experience required (experience with seniors strongly preferred)
• Familiarity with breathing treatments (oxygen tanks, nebulizers) and medication administration
• Ability to pass a background check and reference check
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Empathy, patience, and compassion toward elderly clients
• Must be willing to work full-time 12-hour shifts on both weekdays and weekends
• Comfortable working in a home environment with two clients
• Must be willing to travel up to 25 miles when needed
