Work Schedule: - Primarily daylight shifts, Monday through Friday!

Our skilled Technologists will be responsible for procedural Cardiac MRI and routine MRI procedures, functioning in a clinical and research-based role. If you're passionate about patient care, elevating the MRI field, and eager to grow professionally, apply today!
Responsibilities: - Performs all job responsibilities of Level II Advanced MRI Technologist, including maintaining MR and patient safety, preparing and administration of contrast, completing procedures, and documenting patient information.
- Demonstrates expert proficiency in cardiac and chest anatomy, both normal and abnormal (including complex congenital heart disease), and demonstrates understanding of common cardiac abnormalities.
- Serves as a technical resource to Technologists, supporting continuing education needs and acting as a peer delegate.
- Assists with accreditation responsibilities and ensures that all quality control tests, safety standards, equipment use, and procedures are conducted appropriately.
- Responsible for tech quality assurance programs and the reviewing and updating of protocols alongside of, or in place of, the Lead MRI Tech.
- Assumes leadership role in training staff on new equipment.
- Creates and implements new training programs and assists with the startup of new offsite locations.
- Responsibilities for new locations include, but are not limited to, working on reporting systems, obtaining appropriate images, and effectively communicating with attending physicians, co-workers, and patients.
- Leads training on new techniques, protocols, and software applications and collaborates with department physicians and researchers where applicable to identify new techniques and problem-solving resolutions.
- Attends advanced training sessions and seminars, and disseminates information to imaging departmental leadership and as a part of new hire orientation.
- Assists with research studies where applicable.
Qualifications: - Graduate of an approved AMA School of Radiologic Technology.
- 2 years of Cardiac MRI experience required.
- MR Certification required.
- Previous pediatric experience preferred.
Licensure, Certifications, and Clearances: - ARRT Certificate or ARMRIT
- Basic Life Support (BLS) OR Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
- Act 31 Child Abuse Reporting, Act 33, Act 34, and Act 73 FBI Clearance with renewals
