CAD Operator

Position Overview
We are seeking a skilled CAD Operator to join our team. The CAD Operator will be responsible for creating, modifying, and maintaining technical drawings and plans using CAD software. This position plays a crucial role in supporting engineering and architectural projects by ensuring high-quality design documentation and accuracy in drawings.

Key Responsibilities

• Draft and revise technical drawings for stormwater systems, water distribution, and sewer infrastructure
• Collaborate with engineers to develop plans, profiles, and construction documents
• Convert field data and sketches into accurate CAD models
• Ensure all drawings meet municipal codes and project specifications
• Maintain organized drawing archives and update plans as needed

Qualifications

• Proven experience in municipal infrastructure design (stormwater, water, sewer)
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D
• Strong attention to detail and ability to interpret engineering data
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Associate degree in CAD, Engineering Technology, or related field preferred
