The role you'll contribute to:
Responsible for assisting licensed anesthesia providers with patient care and equipment maintenance for routine surgical cases. This position ensures the proper functioning and availability of anesthesia equipment. This role involves preparing patients for anesthesia and monitoring patient status during procedures. In addition, this position provides post-operative care to patients. Additionally, this role maintains and troubleshoots anesthesia equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
The Value You'll Bring To The Team - Assists anesthesia providers with patient assessment, monitoring, transporting, positioning, insertion of intravenous and other invasive lines, and airway management.
- Maintains and troubleshoots anesthesia equipment malfunctions.
- Ensures necessary equipment and supply inventory remain in stock.
- Assists with schedule preparations, including emergent and urgent surgical procedures involving anesthesia.
Qualifications The expertise and experience you'll need to succeed: Minimum Qualification - High School Grad or Equiv Required
- Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) Required
Preferred Qualification - Associate Preferred
- 1 year Work Experience Preferred
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support Cert (ACLS) Preferred
