Position Summary The Air Force uses hundreds of aircraft to carry out its missions. Our Tactical Aircraft Maintenance specialists keep every component of these well-oiled machines up to the highest standards. They ensure these aircraft are ready to fly and effectively complete their missions whenever the need arises. Primary Responsibilities Supervise and assist in recovering aircraft. Use automated technical data to solve maintenance problems. Supervise and perform inspections on engine and aircraft. Conduct functional tests of repaired engines. Review maintenance data to spot potential trends. To be considered, you must meet the following requirements: High school diploma or GED Knowledge of principles applying to aircraft systems Completion of a current National Agency Check, Local Agency Checks and Credit Completion of 7.5 weeks of Basic Military Training Must be between the ages of 17 and 39 About the Reserve The Air Force Reserve offers you more ways than ever to build your future–on your terms–with over 200 part-time and full-time jobs with full-time benefits.
